For the winter 2025/2026 season, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is expanding its flight network from its Copenhagen hub.
The season sees the introduction of six new destinations: Vienna, Tel Aviv, Marrakech, Madeira, Fuerteventura, and Kittilä.
Alongside these additions, SAS is boosting frequencies on existing routes, resulting in a 40% increase in total seat capacity.
This expansion strengthens Copenhagen’s position as a key Northern European hub and enhances travel options for passengers across Scandinavia and beyond.
SAS Winter 2025/26 Schedule
The winter schedule also retains 22 popular summer routes, offering year-round access to both major cities and leisure destinations.
With increased flight frequencies on key routes, SAS is improving connectivity by 75%, providing travelers with greater flexibility and more choices.
These enhancements ensure seamless connections not only from Copenhagen but also from other SAS hubs like Stockholm and Oslo, as well as cities such as Gothenburg, Billund, Aarhus, Aalborg, Bergen, Stavanger, Tallinn, and Gdansk.

New Destinations for Winter 2025/2026
SAS’s new routes cater to a variety of traveler interests, from cultural city breaks to sunny escapes and winter adventures:
Vienna, Austria: Known for its classical music, stunning architecture, and imperial history, Vienna offers daily morning flights from Copenhagen, perfect for a cultural getaway.
Tel Aviv, Israel: A vibrant financial and tech hub, often called “Silicon Wadi,” Tel Aviv will have three weekly flights. These will connecting travelers to major European and U.S. cities.
Marrakech, Morocco: Famous for its colorful souks, rich cuisine, and proximity to the Atlas Mountains. Marrakech will be served twice weekly, offering a unique cultural experience.
Madeira, Portugal: This lush island, with its scenic trails, vibrant flowers, and mild climate, will have one weekly flight from Copenhagen, complementing existing Stockholm services.
Fuerteventura, Spain: A Canary Island paradise for sun-seekers and water sports enthusiasts, Fuerteventura’s golden beaches and warm weather will be accessible with one weekly flight.
Kittilä, Finland: Located in Finnish Lapland, Kittilä is ideal for winter adventures like skiing, snowmobiling, and chasing the Northern Lights. Flights will operate twice weekly from January to March.
Popular Summer Routes Continue
SAS is extending 22 seasonal summer routes into the winter, ensuring year-round access to diverse destinations. A standout is Toronto, Canada, a dynamic city with a vibrant food scene and iconic attractions like the CN Tower.
With four weekly flights, SAS will be the only airline offering direct service between Scandinavia and Canada during winter. It also allows easy connections across Europe.
Another highlight is the new Seoul, Korea route, launching September 12, 2025, with three weekly flights continuing through winter.
In Europe, cities like Krakow, Wroclaw, Budapest, Lyon, Madrid, Venice, Beirut, and Lisbon will remain in the winter schedule. This blend offers travelers a good mix of cultural and leisure options.
