Tamil Nadu Class 12 (HSE +2) results 2024 to be announced today; here are the important details

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department is set to unveil the TN HSE Plus Two or Class 12 board examination results for the year 2024 today, May 6. According to reports, the department has ensured all necessary preparations for the declaration of the TN 12th results. Approximately 7.25 lakh students appeared in the Class 12 board exams conducted in March this year.

Upon release, students can access their scores by visiting the website of the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations — tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in. Additionally, the school education department stated that marks details will be sent via text messages to the mobile numbers provided by the students.

Tamil Nadu State Board Achieves Highest Pass Percentage in 2023Over the past few years, The Tamil Nadu state board recorded its highest pass percentage in 2023, except for the exceptional circumstances of 2021 when all students were promoted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here’s a look at the overall pass percentage in previous years:

  • 2019: 91.30%
  • 2020: 92.34%
  • 2021: 100% (all students promoted due to Covid-19)

As far as grading is concerned, the students with than 90 per cent of score will get AI Grade, and those within 80-90 range will get A2 grade. Below that students will get other grades.
