Orlando Bloom seems to be in his feelings following his reported breakup with longtime partner Katy Perry.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor appeared to be embracing his philosophical side in a Wednesday Instagram post featuring a series of quotes from psychotherapist Carl Jung, which were reposted from the account @sapienkind.
Among the moody excerpts were meditations on “loneliness,” “sadness” and the dark duality of the human spirit.
“Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself,” one post read.
Another mused that “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”

Bloom’s post seemed particularly pointed after reports of his nine-year relationship with pop star fiancée Perry ending.
Last week, multiple sources confirmed that the pair, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, had split after what insiders described as months of tension.
While it looked like the “Lord of the Rings” actor was processing his feelings with cryptic social media posts, the “Fireworks” singer wasn’t holding back her emotions during a concert in Adelaide, Australia, on Monday.
In what was her first performance since word of the split, Perry appeared to fight back tears as she told fans, “Thank you for always being there for me, Australia. It means the world.”
