Mayer Brown is advising Walton Street Capital on the sale of Walton Street Mexico, a leading real estate asset management platform focused primarily on the industrial sector with $2.1 billion in assets under management, to Ares Management. The firm’s role included fund-related transaction structuring advice and M&A.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
The Chicago-based team was led by Corporate & Securities partners Frank Falbo, Jason Wagenmaker, and Michael Weigel and Tax partner Jeff Bruns.
