In the last few moments, Jet2 flight LS134 from Malaga has declared an emergency whilst enroute to Glasgow.
G-JZDA is the aircraft involved in the incident at hand.

Emergency: Jet2 Flight LS134 Malaga-Glasgow…
Jet2 flight LS134, which has declared the emergency, is a routine scheduled flight between Malaga and Glasgow.
Furthermore, the aircraft involved in the incident is G-JZDA.
As per data from Planespotters.net, G-JZDA is a 12.5 year old Boeing 737-800 that started out life with Pegasus back in January 2013.
In April 2021, the aircraft was returned to lessor Pembroke, before being sent to Flyr of Norway.
LS took delivery of the aircraft in March 2023, not long after the bankruptcy of Flyr.
Of the 737-800 variant, Jet2 has 98 of them in their fleet.
Moreover, of that 98, all of them are in active service with an average fleet age of 15.6 years.
Jet2 flight LS134, which declared the emergency, departed Malaga at 1249 local time on June 22.
Everything was normal in the flight until the aircraft entered Northern Ireland, when they squawked 7700.
At the time of writing (22/06/2025 @ 1455 UK time), the aircraft is continuing on to Glasgow.
Cause of the Incident Onboard Unknown…
At this moment, it is unclear what the reason for the emergency is onboard Jet2 flight LS134 Malaga-Glasgow.

UPDATE #2 @ 1502 UK time – As per @FlightEmergency on X, the reason for the emergency is due to a problem with the Anti Skid brake system on the aircraft.
Fire crews will await the aircraft’s arrival in Glasgow.
UPDATE #3 @ 1506 UK time – Descending through 7,000 feet.
The aircraft is on the downwind leg for Runway 23 at Glasgow Airport.
UPDATE #4 @ 1509 UK time – LS134 is on the base leg into Glasgow Airport.
UPDATE #5 @ 15** UK time – The aircraft is now on final approach.
Emergency landing is expected imminently.

Jet2 flight LS134 from Malaga has appeared to have touched down safely into Glasgow following it’s emergency declaration not too long ago.
As mentioned by @FlightEmergency on X, the emergency was due to a problem with the Anti Skid system.

UPDATE #7 @ 1518 UK time – What is the Anti Skid system?
The antiskid system controls the metered brake pressure from the hydraulic brake system or the autobrake pressure from the autobrake system to prevent wheel skid.
This gives maximum brake force to stop the airplane with any runway condition.
It works by monitoring wheel speeds and modulating brake pressure to prevent wheel lock-up and maintain traction with the runway.
This system is crucial for optimal braking performance on various runway conditions.
