A Hisky Europe A320-200 departing from Bucharest made a precautionary return for landing after suffering a compressor stall on 3 March 2025.
Hisky Europe flight H4762, operated by an Airbus A320-200, had conducted a departure from runway 26R Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP).

The flight was to be a scheduled service bound for Oradea International Airport (ODR), Romania. During the climb after takeoff, flight crew transmitted an emergency call to ATC. The operating crew reported a compressor stall on the aircraft’s number one (left-hand) engine.
The climb procedure was terminated and a direct return to the departure airport was then carried out. The aircraft landed without further incident on runway 26L, approximately 15 minutes after its initial departure.

Flight data shows that the flight H4762 had made an on-time departure out of Henri Coandă International Airport at 1847 local time on 3 March.
Following departure, the aircraft had climbed to 5000 feet before flight crew terminated the departure procedure. A direct return for landing was then carried out.
The aircraft conducting the H4762 service to Oradea International Airport was an Airbus A320-200, registered YR-BEE. This is a 10.7 year old narrow body aircraft belonging to the carrier Hisky Europe.
It has been operational service with the airline since April 2021. Prior to its present service it was operated by Indian airline Vistara from its initial delivery from the factory in September 2014.
HiSky Europe is a Romanian low-cost airline with its headquarters in Bucharest, Romania. Its main base is at Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport.
The airline also maintains secondary bases in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.
HiSky Europe differs from HiSky, which is a Moldovan airline. They are related, but are separate entities, with separate operating certificates.
