A British Airways flight departing for Toronto made a precautionary return to London after reporting a technical problem on 3 September 2025.
British Airways flight BA99, operated by a Boeing 777-200, had conducted a departure from London Heathrow Airport.
The aircraft was performing a scheduled service bound for Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

As the aircraft transited Welsh airspace, flight crew terminated the climb procedure at 15,000 feet. According to the online source Flight Emergency, the issue was an oxygen system problem.
Following the termination of the climb, flight crew elected to make a precautionary return to London Heathrow Airport.
