Atlas Air, Inc., a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide, has unveiled a new long-term partnership with Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics division of Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates.
This collaboration strengthens their relationship, which began in 2012, and aims to meet growing demand in the air cargo industry.
Delivery of Dedicated Boeing 777 Freighter
Starting in August, Atlas Air will provide Etihad Cargo with dedicated freighter capacity using a newly delivered Boeing 777 freighter.
The aircraft will initially operate routes connecting Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Madrid. This partnership comes at a pivotal time, as demand surges for air cargo. This includes general cargo, e-commerce, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and perishable goods across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
