Emirates is gearing up for the 2025 Hajj and Eid Al Adha season by operating 33 dedicated flights to Jeddah and Medina. These flights will run until May 31 and from June 10 to 16, catering to thousands of pilgrims embarking on their sacred journey to Mecca.
To accommodate the high demand during Eid Al Adha, Emirates will also operate 13 additional flights to regional hubs such as Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
These extra flights support travellers heading to summer destinations or visiting loved ones for Eid celebrations.
Over the next three weeks, Emirates expects to transport nearly 32,000 Hajj pilgrims from key markets. These include the USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d’Ivoire. The airline is committed to ensuring a seamless and meaningful experience for these travellers, both on the ground and in the air.
A Tailored Hajj Experience
The Hajj journey with Emirates begins at Dubai International Airport, where dedicated teams assist pilgrims with arrivals, connections, and hotel transfers.
Onboard, all passengers receive unique “Hajj” luggage tags and a thoughtfully designed Hajj kit. The kit includes a prayer mat, tasbih beads for prayer and remembrance, a silicone water bottle, and cushioned non-slip socks. The kit ensures both comfort and reverence throughout the flight.
Emirates’ special Hajj flights feature tailored amenities to enhance the pilgrimage experience. These include ablution-friendly facilities, unperfumed towels, and special announcements for Al Miqat zones.
Pilgrims can also enjoy dedicated Hajj content on Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system. For those returning from Jeddah and Medina, Emirates allows up to 5 litres of Zamzam holy water to be checked in, stored securely in the aircraft’s cargo area.

Celebrating Eid Al Adha in Style
Emirates is embracing Eid Al Adha traditions by offering a special menu across all travel classes on flights to select destinations in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, the Far East, and Europe.
Passengers in First, Business, and Premium Economy Class can savour traditional dishes like Lamb Madfoon and Chicken Zurbian, paired with desserts such as Pistachio and Chocolate Nammoura Cake or White Chocolate and Rahash Mousse Cake.
Economy Class travelers can enjoy Pistachio Cake or Coffee Cake.
For those traveling on the Emirates A380 in First or Business Class, the Onboard Lounge offers a rich selection of Emirati desserts and unlimited Arabic coffee.
All passengers will receive desserts in festive, specially designed boxes featuring treats like Cake Rangeena, Pistachio Rehash Cake, and Date Mamoul cookies.
At Emirates’ dedicated lounge in Jeddah, First and Business Class passengers can indulge in dishes like Lamb Mathlouta, Lamb Saleeg, Henaini, and Cheese Kunafa, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
Emirates’ ice entertainment system keeps passengers entertained with over 2,000 global movies, including more than 75 Arabic titles such as Abo Nasab, Al Mazra’a, and Al Ankaboot.
Additionally, there are 50 Arabic series channels, including Shahid exclusives like Al Bath, Trad, and Sadaf, as well as Arabic-dubbed Turkish series like Tout El Aswad and Al Uqda.
The system also offers 15 Arabic podcast and audiobook channels, the Holy Qur’an, and over 500 Arabic music channels spanning pop, classics, Khaleeji, Maghrebi, and fusion genres.
