A United Airlines flight operating from New York to Las Vegas declared an emergency before diverting to Denver on 14 August 2025.
United Airlines flight UA446, operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8, had departed from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
The flight was to be a scheduled service bound for Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).

As the flight entered Colorado airspace en route to Las Vegas, flight crew declared an emergency squawking transponder code 7700.
The flight then carried out a diversion to nearby Denver International Airport (DEN).
It is understood that the reason for the diversion was an in-flight medical emergency. After a short delay at Denver, the scheduled flight was able to resume.

The flight subsequently landed at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport at 2:29 PM local time on 14 August.
