A British Airways flight attendant has reportedly been arrested following a shocking mid-flight incident. According to reports, the male crew member allegedly took drugs while working on a flight from San Francisco to London Heathrow.
Drug Fuelled Incident on British Airways Flight…
The 10-hour transatlantic flight, which took place on Sunday, took an unexpected turn mid-air.
Fellow crew members noticed passengers in the premium Club World cabin had not been served any food or drinks.
It is unclear exactly when during the flight the incident took place.
However, multiple reports stated it had been a while before the crew member was found.
The search ended when a crew member discovered the man naked and dancing in a lavatory near the business class section.
In The Sun’s report, a colleague said: “We think he popped pills when he was meant to be working.”
Another added: “The plane was cruising at 37,000 feet over the Atlantic, but this bloke seemed higher than anyone else.”
After being found, the British Airways crew gave him a pair of pajamas and moved him to the first-class cabin.
He remained seated in the first-class section for the rest of the flight.
Upon landing at Heathrow Airport, the crew member was taken off the aircraft in a wheelchair by medical personnel.
According to The Sun, he was then later arrested by police.
When asked for a statement, British Airways declined to comment, stating it was “a matter for the police.”
The airline confirmed the crew member has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
