This agreement holds OMNY accountable to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule. In accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule, we minimize the risk of re-identification of patients using the Safe Harbor and Expert Determination methods. In addition, OMNY has a robust security program, as evidenced by its SOC2 Type 2 certification and work toward achieving HITRUST certification.

Many factors can make it challenging for individuals to access the health care they need to prevent and treat illness. A similar model of data access for subscribers that ranges from data only subscriptions to expanded engagement that includes analytic services and engagement in collaborative research opportunities.

We work closely with integrated delivery networks, community hospital systems, and specialty practices to harmonize their data, enable custom analytics, and create a real-word data pipeline. With an easy-to-use, secure data-sharing platform, the company empowers provider organizations of all sizes to participate in data-sharing partnerships with life sciences organizations. Life sciences organizations can access deidentified data sourced directly from the organizations that generate it, but in a common data format and under one contract that supports greater efficiencies in the process across both organization types.

It’s estimated that 80% of data surrounding patient characteristics and the delivery of care have been inaccessible to clinicians and researchers.
There have been rapid developments in technologies to surface and make accessible new data sources to support new RWD sources, especially in the areas of unstructured data such as images, voice recordings, and clinician notes. Additionally new data are being developed based on enhancements in diagnostic testing, including genomic-level data.
Continued development in data linking techniques and the ability to de-identify these data will also continue to be critical components in ensuring data integrity and maintaining patient privacy going forward.
Tools such as ChatGPT and generative AI technologies are expected to accelerate the time to data being captured, transformed into usable RWD, and then developing insights and action-plans based on that data.

Our product roadmap over the next year will continue to expand the number of partnering health systems to surpass 100M lives available to support data partnerships. We will continue to recruit health systems from across the United States and across multiple specialty areas as well as settings of care to reflect the diverse set of providers delivering care today.
We also are adding additional content from health system EHR and other IT systems to augment the existing data, such as information on immunization/vaccinations and social history data that report details on alcohol and tobacco use and other lifestyle habits.
Additionally, we are building a suite of SaaS offerings to accelerate the time to insights. SaaS offerings will be geared toward monitoring shifts in market landscape over time, or in enabling customer and provider segmentation to better understand patient journeys and shifts in treatment paradigms over time. Recent advancements in technology will allow for increased flexibility in how teams work with these tools to generate insights and open the potential user base for OMNY solutions to include individuals that don’t have a programming/coding background.
